Personal training is an opportunity for me, the trainer, to get to know you, the client, on a better basis. Doing individual training allows me to focus on what you specifically need and I can then better tailor our workouts based on that information.

Many people have muscle imbalances that lead to certain muscles being overactive ("tight") and other muscles being underactive ("weak"). To correct that, we first need to lengthen ("stretch") those overactive muscles, and then strengthen the underactive and weak muscles.

Another area that we might focus on may have to do with balance and coordination. It is common for people of all age ranges to struggle in both of these areas.

To correct this we need to work on movements that occur in an imbalanced environment, such as forward lunges or single leg deadlifts; or that occur bilaterally, such as a left leg lunge with a right arm over-head press.

Other people may also have current health issues or a predisposition towards illnesses later in their life that they would like to start addressing now. Those that are diabetic or pre-diabetic often benefit greatly from regular physical training.

And yet others may already have a training routine that they're following and want to ramp up the intensity of their workouts. Whatever your intention is in seeking One on One training, I'm here to help guide you towards your goals.
